Accidents at work
We have particular experience in working with employers in the aftermath of fatal accidents at work. This experience lead to Ian Glendenning being appointed to the IOSH Working Party on accident investigation. Ian was also able to draw on his experience as an HSE inspector and acted as principal author of the resulting publication “Learning the lessons – How to respond to deaths at work and other serious incidents”
We have drawn on our experience in the field of occupational accident investigation to provide expert evidence in numerous workplace accidents claims and have given evidence in Courts including the landmark judgement in the case of Makepeace vs Evans Bros at the Royal Courts of Justice. Our expertise and experience covers:
- Machinery safety
- Work at height
- Manual handling
- Materials transport (including conveyors)
- Construction work
- Electricity
- Confined spaces
We are instructed by parties dealing with proceedings in criminal and civil courts.
