Asbestos diseases

Exposure to asbestos is associated with causation of various life threatening respiratory health problems including mesothelioma, asbestosis and
lung cancer.

In the context of compensation claims, issues relating to liability and apportionment have become increasing complicated in recent years (for example in view of Fairfield v Glenhaven Funeral Services Ltd, Barker v Corus and the Compensation Act 2006).
